We want you to enjoy your log cabin getaway to fullest. So we’ve prepared this list of questions guests ask us most often. If you have any further questions that aren’t anwered on our site, please give us a call. We’ll be happy to help.

Yes, each cabin has a queen size bed and bedding, plus appropriate furniture like couches, chairs and tables in each room.  Each cabin has satellite TV service.


Both cabins have central heating and room air conditioning.  They are furnished identically with minor differences in decoration.

The kitchen in each cabin has an electric oven and range, refrigerator and freezer, a sink, microwave oven, and a drip coffee maker. 


Basic pots and pans, utensils, dishes, glasses and silverware are provided too.

Each bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet, vanity mirror and cabinet.  We provide towels for your stay. 

Shampoo, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor hair dryer, etc. Bring things you’ll need for your bathroom and shower. 

Each cabin is equipped with a full, small kitchen with basic appliances. You’ll need to bring your own groceries, paper towels, extra coffee grounds, that sort of thing.

Local pizza delivery is available on Sunset Ridge.

Each cabin is supplied with well water.  While it is perfectly safe to drink, guests sometimes prefer to bring their own bottled water. 

Bring charcoal, lighter fluid, matches/lighter, foil, etc.  These things can be purchased in Danville. 

Mosquito repellent, blankets*, binoculars, etc. These things can be purchased locally.  Firewood is available onsite for $10 per stack.

*The blankets we provide for the beds must not be taken outside the cabins. 

Each cabin has a hot tub on the covered back deck. You can use it during all seasons.   We also have a seasonal swimming pool on the property, but no lifeguard. 

No pets are allowed in the cabins or anywhere on the property.

On the day of your arrival we'll prepare your cabin and leave your key in your cabin's mailbox at the front gate.  See our full check-in process here.
